1. Awareness Programs: STEP aims to motivate the the Awareness Programs toe the section of tribal Youth, Women, Farmers and Elected Members, i.e. Gram Panchayat member, Sarpanch’s, MPTCs, ZPTCs, other Local bodies representative, Mahila Mandal Group leaders about the development programs implementing by the STATE & CENTRAL GOVERNMENTS for the upliftment of the poor & marginalized families.
2. Training Programs: STEP will organize various types of training programs and camps to educate the Tribal and other needy communities on Watershed management, harvesting technology, post harvesting technology etc. with the help of concern government officials . STEP organize the camps for Tribal farmers to disseminate up-to-date information about new techniques of agriculture, compost Pits,Vermy Compost Pits, Nadep Compost Pits, Peculation Pits, Non Pesticide Management Works, improved seeds, natural manure and other harvesting works, improved agricultural practices including post harvest technology. STEP emphasizes to protect the forest and greenery tin tribal areas with the help of the Forest Department and other NGOs.
3. Guidance Programs: STEP will give guidance to for tribal formers to for solving the litigation of Land Problems, Opportunities in the educational field for tribal students and other legal advises for tribal victims. STEP give the guidance to the eligible tribal people to get the benefits of the Govt. Programs, which are implementing for the upliftment of them. i.e pensions, ITDA Loans, Scholarships for children etc.
4. Healthcare:
Medical Camps: STEP organizes medical camps to provide free health check-ups, treatments, and medicines to people in remote and underserved areas.- Health Awareness Campaigns: The STEP conducts health awareness campaigns focusing on hygiene, nutrition, maternal health, and disease prevention.
- Mobile Health Clinics: STEP operates mobile health clinics that bring medical services to the doorsteps of those in need.
5. Women Empowerment:
- Self-Help Groups (SHGs): STEP facilitates the formation of SHGs to encourage women to come together, save money, and access microloans for starting small businesses. Skills Training: The STEP offers various skills training programs, including tailoring, handicrafts, and entrepreneurship, to help women gain financial independence.
- Awareness Programs: Programs on women’s rights, gender equality, and domestic violence are conducted to empower women and promote gender equity.
6. Sustainable Livelihoods:
- Vocational Training: STEP provides vocational training in fields such as agriculture, carpentry, and information technology to equip individuals with skills that enhance their employability.
- Sustainable Agriculture: The organization promotes sustainable farming practices, organic farming, and the use of technology in agriculture to improve productivity and income for farmers.
- Environmental Conservation:
- Tree Plantation Drives: STEP conducts tree plantation drives and promotes afforestation to combat deforestation and environmental degradation.
- Clean Energy: The organization advocates for the use of clean and renewable energy sources, such as solar power, in rural areas to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
- Waste Management: Awareness programs and initiatives on proper waste management and recycling are undertaken to create a cleaner environment.
